The Columbia University had decided to suspend those students that were not able to vacate the premises of the Pro-Palestinian camp by 2 pm according to the institution’s deadline.

Columbia University protesters occupied an on-campus building overnight. After invading, the former Hamilton Hall was renamed under their control to Hind’s Hall by protesters, to honor Hind Rajab whose death took place during Israeli bombings where she called for help as recorded on the internet. Some time back, it was reported that Hind who died alongside other family members in one car among those who perished during an air strike by Israel forces.”

“Whether you come or not is entirely up to you, but please, come take me,” she pleaded with first responders, and disappeared twelve days ago. On the phone recording, she sounded terrified, imploring the rescuer to “come take me. Please, will you come?”\n\nIn February, Hind’s mother told NBC News that she was devastated by her death, which occurred when first responders retrieved two paramedics from a burning ambulance near where it had stood at her side.

In the first hours of this morning, several demonstrators broke into Columbia University’s iconic Hamilton Hall. They started breaking windows and hung Palestine flags on them. One protestor referenced the well-known 1968 anti-Vietnam War demonstrations at Columbia University where students had taken over the hall by saying, “Let’s finish what they did in 1968.” Another protester said, “This building is now being liberated.”

In honor of 6-year-old Hind Rajab, who was found dead in Gaza in February, demonstrators unrolled a self-made banner and called it “HIND’S HALL”.

University crashed windows at its Hamilton Hall located in Manhattan hours after students began to be suspended by the school for not leaving a pro-Palestinian camp inaugurated in order to protest against war held in Gaza. Hamilton Hall on C. university’s manhattan campus was hit by protesters who smashed windows on Tuesday morning. It was the second day in a row when police clashed with demonstrators outside this institution against Israel’s actions during the armed conflict there.

Site reports indicate that there were over 200%20 people inside the hall including students from different universities who joined them on Monday evening despite warnings that they may be arrested by following morning. However, NBC News could not immediately confirm how many people were in Hamilton Hall but said many had always hoped to portray their opposition towards what has been termed as brutal massacre currently unfolding in The Israeli Blockade Strip.
